I forgot to reply to this...
The other one's power supply died, so I gutted it and kept all the
useful parts. In general, I should be able to replace just about
anything on that unit, so perhaps I should take a look at it. If it is
the hard-drive, then i'll just replace it and install vanilla debian on
it. do you have whatever iptables configuration information you'll need
saved from the old one?
OR... did you upgrade your laptop with a PCMCIA-based ethernet card and
alleviate the need for this machine altogether?
