I agree on having this as early in the semester as possible. Vote for Sept 5, as I'm in town, but gone on the 13th.
I am building a new Linux server machine, and while I need zero help setting it up other LUGers may be interested in the hardware (NVIDIA's new ION/Intel Atom-based x86-64 platform, total power usage AFAIK is <20W. Plan on bringing my Kill-a-Watt along to play with). I'd like to bum off the campus' significantly faster Internet connection for downloading updates as well.
