Hey all, can some one please delete the Colonel from this list?
Thanks. The "lists.fastwave.biz" does not work.

Peace, Bob

I will be free on that date, so I can be available as a resident Mac /
Windows consultant as well as helping with WLAN and GPU drivers.

Lessons Learned from previous install fests:
http://www.mvlug.org/InstallFest/LessonsLearned

1. Software Updates - Anyone want to possibly address this for this go around?
3. Virtualbox - I got that squared, I need to get with Don and test it out,
possibly this weekend?
4. Food - I will take care of this issue as well. Four pizza's instead of 3..

As for other business, I believe it's our 5th year doing install fests, the
first being the ACM in 2005 where a few of us decided to start up the lug again.
Someone correct me if I am wrong.

In what sense? Big thing is to make sure I've got the router doing
transparent caching.

2.?

Sounds roughly right. I had been drafted as advisor to the ACM (aka
Las Cruces chapter of the Bill Gates Fan Club), and was trying to get
them to do something other than kvetch about the awfulness of the CS
department being something other than MSCE training (Samat should be
mentioned as the one bright spot among the involved students). The
ACM had been running InstallFests for some time under the direction of
a bunch of students who had graduated; I had a hunch the upcoming
InstallFest was going to be run entirely by Samat and me when Don sent
an email offering help.
